I, like you, are aware of the injustices of this world. Personally, I have been on the receiving end of injustice. Turn on the news and you can receive a steady diet of events informing you of every atrocity humankind is capable of, and carrying out. It is not only those who you might imagine that are creating havoc and dissension such as the poor and unlearned. Doctors, clergy, government officials, hospitals, nurses, teachers, and the list goes on to address abusers. These are not uneducated people or institutions without education and what we would hope for, a high moral ethic. Yet they sometimes misuse and yes, abuse and it appears no justice is brought forth against their actions.
The bible states; "Judgment is mine sayeth the Lord." Consider this, many teachings say that God is within. If you are in alignment with this, then you have the duty as a God created being of Divine Light, to see to it that justice prevails. Peace Begins With Me is more than something to say, it is a goal to be attained and a way of living to adopt for the good of all.
Law enforcement cannot be everywhere to ensure the safety of each person. Not the military or our officials elected to protect our rights, not our schools or any structure put in place, can accomplish this. Justice and right action are the responsibility of each individual. Looking out for one another is an opportunity to grow in Spirit and Light.
Shelter houses for battered women and their children have a staggering population. We have heard the slogan; "If you see something, say something." This is intended to bring the community of people into action when they witness suspicious behaviors. It can be a challenge to do this with absolute accuracy but it is worth a call to authorities if you see someone being harmed or, as they state, suspicious behavior.
What is it to, be your brother's keeper? This is telling you that if there is to be a better world, a more harmonious and peaceful world, the statement applies; if it is to be it is up to me. Here are some thoughts for your consideration:
1. Be neither a liar nor a person who spreads untruths.
2. The Law of Harmlessness dictates this simply and profoundly; cause no harm.
3. Be powerful in your steady progress of learning and understanding yourself. If you become acquainted with your magnificence and Inner Light, it will reveal that of another, and another, and another.
4. Correct your actions now.
5. Remember that those who love you are imperfect, but then again, so are you...forgive.
