We tend to think there is always "tomorrow" to take care of things, get back to people or even to make amends.
The plain truth is, we don't always know how much time there is to do all that we think we want to take care of. Every civilization has had its day in time. The mind procrastinates but time does not. Time is precious. Time is neutral and impartial and will not bend to your demands. Time is a gift. Life is a gift. It is best to use these gifts wisely.
We co-create occasions called holidays, to remind us to show we care. Mother's Day, Father's Day, anniversaries, birthday celebrations and all the like, are to keep us on track. All we really need to do is care about ourselves so much, that we are filled with love and allow that love to flow into the lives of others. We can and need to show even our brief acquaintances that they matter, because they do. Egos are easily hurt, relationships callously disregarded and answers to the question Why? are not addressed because rarely can anyone tell you the Why? behind another's choice and psyche. Think about what you have to offer, what you would like to receive, and begin to live without judgment and fear. There are many who will never know in this lifetime how to correct their actions and they will need to re-live it all over again.
Be about finding out who you are and what you stand for. Be true to yourself. Don't perceive an attack where there has been none. Do not allow yourself to be harmed by another's ill will when they have lost their way. Find those with whom your heart resonates and nurture those unions for they are gifts waiting to be opened in many ways.
